Michael Tucker

Engineering

michael@seldeo.com

Michael Tucker leads engineering work at Seldeo. He brings over a decade of experience in building secure, scalable systems. He is responsible for the platform's authentication and account-security design, including its passkey-first sign-in, device management, and account-recovery model.

He writes primarily about security and infrastructure: how authentication actually works, where cryptographic guarantees stop, and why so many security failures are social rather than technical. His aim in these pieces is to explain mechanisms precisely enough to be useful, without assuming the reader is an engineer.
